Intended learning outcomes
  1. Understand, analyze and design complex P&IDs in a process engineer perspective.
  2. Predict and quantify closed loop dynamical behavior and performance, and address stability issues.
  3. Understand the fundamental concepts of process modeling, closed loop control and controller design.
  4. Identify opportunities for the use of advanced control systems.
  5. Use MATLAB software to analyze process behavior and design advanced process control systems.
